The Christ the King Parish in Mandan, ND hosted an End of Life Seminar and Health Fair on April 16th. Nearly 150 people attended the event to learn about end of life topics along with the variety health services available. The seminar hosted speakers from the Diocese of Bismarck, CHI St. Alexius Health, Christ the King School, Buehler-Larson Funeral Services, and Weigel Funeral & 
Cremation Services. Discussion ranged from caregiving, financial planning, and health care – all which raised great questions from the audience. The presentation by Christ the King’s Vice Principal about caring for her mother with Alzheimer’s brought a standing ovation. During the health fair, people networked with exhibits from NDSU Extension Service, University of Mary School of Respiratory Therapy, Gateway Health Mart, and many more . . . . including IPAT! Attendees learned about IPAT’s services and inquired about medication management, telephones for hearing and vision barriers, and daily living aids.
