Individuals with low vision and blindness use tactile markings to identify important buttons and settings on things such as microwaves, ovens, dishwashers, radios, thermostats, telephones, and more! For example, operating an oven with dials or a digital display with little to no vision can become a guessing game if there is no method of identifying the settings.  Thankfully, for a few dollars and a little practice, tactile markings like bump dots and tactile paint can help individuals use the oven successfully by identifying often used settings. In the videos below, this concept is demonstrated by using tactile markings on a microwave, oven, washer, and dryer.
