At ND Assistive, we usually rely on grants and contracts to fund our work. But once a year, we join the excitement of Giving Hearts Day—a huge day of giving across North Dakota—to raise funds and make a bigger impact!

This year, we’re thrilled to focus on our Possibilities Gift program. This life-changing program provides assistive technology to people who can’t afford it and have no other options, like insurance or Medicaid.

Over the years, we’ve helped hundreds of people with devices like iPads, lift chairs, companion pets, kitchen tools, smart home setups, and even big items like ramps, eye-gaze systems, and modified vehicles.

Your support can open up a whole new world for someone in need!

Just $50 can provide two sets of adaptive silverware, $100 can help fund a companion pet, and a few hundred dollars can give someone the gift of communication with an iPad.

Giving Hearts Day is February 13th, 2025, but you can give early and help make possibilities a reality! You can click this link https://app.givingheartsday.org/#/charity/353 or scan the QR code pictured on this page!

The smiling young man in the photo at the top of this page is Beckett Carlson of Dickinson. A couple of years ago, through our Possibilities Grant, he received a Trexo walker.

This summer, Beckett’s mom told us he was approaching one million steps! He can now take his puppy for a walk! This is just one example of how we can partner to changes lives.
