Earlier this year, IPAT was asked to present an overview of the assistive technology (AT) services we provide to our aging population at the 2015 AT Act Programs Conference in Washington DC. In July, I was fortunate enough to attend the conference, and delivered the requested presentation.
A few weeks later, I was contacted by Eliza Anderson, Editor of the AT Program News, a newsletter serving the state Assistive Technology Act Programs. She had heard the presentation, and was interested in writing an article about the unique services IPAT was offering – how exciting is that!
