This July, IPAT will be at some exciting events!
Our very own Peggy Shireley will be in Washington D.C. July 13-15 for the State AT Act Programs Conference; and will be presenting about IPAT’s unique AT outreach activities for North Dakotan’s over 60. Peggy will also be meeting with members of Congress regarding the reauthorization of the Assistive Technology Act.
On July 16, IPAT will be attending the ND’s 2nd Public Health Nursing Conference. Public health nurses, clinic nurses, school nurses, nurse educators, and other health professionals from across the state will be in attendance. The goal of the conference is to inspire ND public health nurses to strive for excellence through problem solving, sharing solutions, and developing skills in collaboration, evaluation and quality improvement.
One week later on July 23, IPAT will be at the Multiple Sclerosis Research Symposium. This event is to address the needs for people with MS, learn about research, and identify wellness resources and tools to live with MS.
