The Interagency Program for Assistive Technology (IPAT) envisions placing assistive technology equipment into the hands of every ND student, who needs it. We are inviting school districts in ND to join us in this vision.
Assistive technology described in a student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP), must be provided so that the IEP can be implemented in the school. School districts can look to AT4ALL as a valuable tool in providing that technology!
IPAT’s AT4ALL device reutilization program is a free resource school districts can use, to share AT devices across our state. It is like a “Craig’s List,” used to showcase, or acquire AT equipment. IPAT will set up an account for every participating school district that supplies us with basic information. Districts are responsible for taking an inventory of available devices in their schools. IPAT can answer questions concerning the usability of any device. We have directions to assist you every step of the way. Imagine, being able to browse an easy-to-use website, and see all available AT in every participating school district in ND!
Encourage your child’s school district to participate in this opportunity.
Together we can meet our goals of independence, learning, and safety for ND students!
