In this Video Blog or “vlog” we announce that we will attend the 31st Annual Closing the Gap Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota. While at the conference, we will participate in workshops and visit various exhibits. Trish is excited to check out the Attainment Company Exhibit , specifically their GoNow Cases, while Nikki looks forward to visiting P.I. Engineering and seeing their X-keys® Programmable Devices. In addition to the Attainment Company, Trish is interested in seeing what RJ Cooper & Associates, Inc. have to show her. Nikki is going to explore mounting options from the following companies: BlueSky Designs, Beyond Adaptive, and Modular Hose. Finally, Trish is eager to see how The Opportunity Foundation of America’s – Eagle Eyes works and Nikki is going to visit Sonocent – USA to learn more about their Audio Notetaker Software.
We invite you to give us your feedback. Let us know if there are any exhibits or pieces of assistive technology you want us to explore. Leave a comment below or email tfloyd@ndipat.org or njohnson@ndipat.org
We look forward to hearing from you!
Modular Hose is great! It is flexible and is nice to use to find the correct positioning. Have fun at Closing the Gap, ladies! I wish I was going as well!

If you are like me you will see many things of interest and the exhibit area is great. I was fortunate enough to attend it 27 years ago. At that time the DOS EZkeys excited me because they had not been included in Windows. That was when the laptop weighed 25 or 30 pounds. How times have changed! This will be exciting for both of you.PS I enjoyed meeting both of you at the 20 year IPAT celebration.
