Hi! My name is Annette Goehring. I’m a native of Zeeland, ND. My husband Doug and I live in Bismarck. We have six children (three sons and three daughters) ranging in age from 16 to 32. We are also abundantly blessed with seven fun and energetic grandchildren (four boys and three girls) ranging in age from 1 to 7. I enjoy walking, gardening, cross-country skiing, traveling, snorkeling and spending time with family and friends.
Since graduating from college, I’ve had an extensive and diverse career working for a coal company, a law firm, a medical foundation, and for the past twelve years I’ve worked for the North Dakota Medical Association. In mid-February I was honored to become the newest member of the ND Assistive team!
In the brief time I’ve been on board, I’ve been able to appreciate how Assistive has changed lives for people who face challenges and difficulties and were provided an opportunity to utilize our services and technology that improved their ability to gain greater independence. I’ve also come to realize this amazing program has been a well-kept secret. Technology has come a long way, and it is exciting to see how it impacts and improves a person’s quality of life.
It warms my heart to be a part of something grand, where I can make a difference. This paradigm shift is as much a life-changing experience for me as it is for our consumers. I’m looking forward to learning and growing with the amazing staff at ND Assistive!
