IPAT CAC Volunteering
The 41st Annual Sam McQuade Sr. Charity Softball Tournament will be held the weekend of June 24, 25, and 26, 2016. It is the USA’s largest non-profit, slowpitch softball tournament, which brings people from all over the nation and Canada. In 2015, 436 teams participated in this great event! The tournament donates all proceeds to many local charities and organizations with over $100,000 donated in 2015. This year, IPAT’s Consumer Advisory Council (CAC) will be volunteering during the Friday night cancer awareness ball toss. They will be selling baseballs for $5, and near the end of the night, participants will toss their ball towards a cancer ribbon in the center of the field. The person with the closet ball wins half the proceeds! A big Thank You to IPAT’s CAC for participating!

Back by popular demand, the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team (WWAST) will be at the McQuade Softball Tournament to showcase their amazing talent! The WWAST is a 501(c)(3) public charity whose mission is to inspire and educate others while enhancing the health and welfare of Wounded Warrior Amputees. The team consists of players from all over the United States but recently added one of North Dakota’s own, Chris Hutton from Grand Forks! The WWAST were featured at the 39th Annual Tournament in 2014 and all are proud to welcome them back in 2016!
