Facebook Messenger is perhaps the most ubiquitous of the video calling apps currently available. Messenger allows you to send and receive Messenger messages, audio calls, and video calls to/from other Facebook users.
Messenger has the following features:
Chat (text messaging)
Voice messaging (like leaving a message on an answering machine)
Voice calls, one-on-one or groups up to 8 people
Video calls, one-on-one or group up to 8 people
Rooms, host up to 50 people in a group chat for an unlimited amount of time for free. You can join an open Room with a link, even if you don’t have a Facebook account.

Compatible Devices
Messenger is compatible with many devices including Android smartphones and tablets, Amazon Fire Tablets, iPhones, iPads, computers, and the Facebook Portal smart display.
Mobile Devices
To use Messenger on a mobile device, you must download the Messenger app.
You can access Messenger on a computer via the Facebook website. Open a web browser from your computer or phone and go to www.facebook.com. Calling on messenger.com or facebook.com is only available using the internet browsers Chrome or Opera.
