Picture of the Legislative Hall at the North Dakota State CapitolIPAT invites you to grab a cup of coffee and visit with staff at the state capitol on February 18, 2015 from 9 am until 2 pm. Come, check us out – it will do you good!

How? By keeping you up to date about the ins and outs of assistive technology, and seeing first-hand how it could make a difference in your life or the life of someone you know.

We are setting up tables highlighting assistive technology to introduce, and allow you to explore various assistive devices that help people of all ages and abilities engage in life. While taking in our displays, you may discover a device to help a child with autism, an employee with carpel tunnel syndrome, or an older adult with vision loss. Or, you may have specific questions about meeting the needs of someone whose abilities are changing, or have been changed due to accident or disease.

We will be on hand to answer your questions, provide information about IPAT, including how to access our statewide services, and the positive impact assistive technology can have on one’s quality of life. I guarantee, a visit with us will do you good, and may help you do good for someone else by letting them know about what you learned.

You will find us in the Legislative Hall, which is located directly west of the Information Kiosk in the Great Hall. I promise, we will keep the coffee hot, and our answers short!
